Recognising the talent and impact of early-stage health innovations, the Innomed Awards celebrate fifteen promising biomedical projects developed within the Can Ruti Campus ecosystem

The second edition of the Innomed Awards has recognised fifteen groundbreaking biomedical projects developed within the GrowInn incubator programme, led by the Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP). The awards ceremony, held at the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute auditorium, brought together over 150 researchers, clinicians, and industry representatives to showcase early-stage innovations addressing critical healthcare challenges.

The event featured presentations of projects spanning medical technologies, new therapies, diagnostics, and digital health solutions. Five outstanding proposals received special awards that include professional support services to accelerate their development. Organisers highlighted the importance of collaboration among the seven participating institutions to drive knowledge transfer and position the Can Ruti Campus as a national hub for biomedical innovation.
