Innovation units and researchers from Consorci Sanitari del Maresme, Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital, Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute, IrsiCaixa, Institut Guttmann, Institut Català d'Oncologia and Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP) gathered at IGTP to launch the second edition of the GrowInn project incubator as part of the Innomed program.

On February 13, the innomed community and Leitat Technology Centre held a matchmaking event at D-Factory in Barcelona to explore new partnerships in biomedical research. Over sixty professionals attended, discussing advancements in drug development, 3D printing, robotics, and advanced therapies.

The Can Ruti Campus and its surroundings, a multidisciplinary space where various leading biomedical institutions generating national and international scientific research are clustered, was the venue for the Innomed Awards ceremony, a meeting point for health innovation.

Institutions in and around the Can Ruti Campus have come together to develop Innomed, a programme aimed at sharing skills, knowledge, and resources to boost innovation. The initiative has recently received support from the ITEMAS platform.
