Nearly one hundred professionals from the Can Ruti ecosystem explore new collaboration opportunities with industry to accelerate healthcare innovation
The Innomed community recently visited AstraZeneca’s Global Hub in Barcelona, bringing together nearly one hundred professionals from across the Can Ruti ecosystem. The visit aimed to strengthen public–private collaboration and explore new opportunities to accelerate innovation in healthcare.
The session provided a unique opportunity for researchers, clinicians, and innovation professionals to gain first-hand insight into AstraZeneca’s strategic priorities, innovation model, and global research infrastructure. Through presentations and open discussions, participants explored potential areas of collaboration, particularly in translational research, advanced therapies, and the development of novel health solutions.
This initiative reflects Innomed’s commitment to fostering a dynamic innovation ecosystem by connecting academic and clinical environments with industry partners. By facilitating direct dialogue and knowledge exchange, the visit contributed to identifying synergies that can help bring scientific discoveries closer to clinical application and patient benefit.
The engagement also highlighted the importance of collaborative frameworks in addressing current healthcare challenges. Strengthening ties between public institutions and global industry leaders is key to accelerating the development, validation, and implementation of innovative technologies.
